What is screen printing?
Screen printing is the process printing apparel by pressing ink through a stencil made from a mesh screen. We take your artwork and split it into individual colors. Then we create a screen for every color. For instance if your logo has 4 colors in it, we will create 4 screens in order to print a 4 color logo.
What Can you print on?
Pretty much anything. We’ve printed on shirts, bags, tablecloths, flags, koozies, blankets, leggings, paper, canvas, wood, plastic, and so much more. If it is flat, we can print on it! Currently we do not have the ability to print on hats but we can embroider them if you want!
How long does it take?
We typically say our turnaround is within 2 weeks from the time the proof is approved and the order is placed. However, we can have a faster turnaround if needed. Due to the process of creating screens, we need at least 72 hours to create the screens, prep the screens, and start printing. If you need something same-day or next day, you might be better off looking at Heat Transfers.
What does it cost?
The cost really depends on several factors including quantity, number of colors, size of print, and type of ink. Larger orders may be eligible for bulk discounts. For large orders, screen printing is your most economical option. After an initial set up fee of $20 per screen, you could be paying as low as $4.50 per shirt for the apparel + printing. However for smaller orders, screen printing may not be your most economical choice. Contact us for a custom quote.
